Banging noise after hot water tap in toilet turned off

This happens in the upstairs toilet. It happens with the hot water tap when its switched off and the banging noise can happen for about 2-3 minutes. When the cold water tap is turned off the banging noise is not as loud and stops quite quickly. Its coming from the pipes as far as I can see but they are not accessible. What could be the case and if i need to call out a plumber what would be the approximate cost to fix it? The house was build in 2006 btw.
