    Hi all

We are looking for a venue for our wedding for 50 people. Function room with food, we dont mind bbq buffet or a set menu, also a nice garden outside for photos

Many thanks in advance for the help :)

    Can't help with that location.

Would you consider bringing caterers into your home?
I've had very successful parties for that amount of people with choice of dinner and desserts, free bar, 2 person band, disco after, for a lot less than €3k.

Try The Gibson hotel, they do some funky stuff like BBQs, and prices are reasonable, depending on what extras you want. They have an upstairs outdoor space too if I remember correctly. They were in our top 2 venues, just pipped for other reasons!

Is Wexford too far for you?
Clayton Whites Hotel dont have a garden but they have a lovely courtyard area and plently of places for photos
They are very reasonably priced also and nothing has been too much trouble for them with us

You don't mention a locality but maybe Glebe house, dowth, Glenview, Wicklow or Finnstown, Lucan would suit?

Sandyford House in Sandyford have a new function room that could suit.

Holds about 70 / 80 people but might do the job.
