Concerts in general "Best seats just released"?

Have seen this a couple of times recently, most recently in the paper today for the Michael Buble concert - "Best seats just released".

What's the story here, if I was a fan I'd be furious if I thought good seats were deliberately held back. What's the reason for it?

Once the final stage config is agreed more space gets freed up.

It is common for them to do this on the sly, certainly in 3arena, and the ed sheeran gigs. I presume the idea is to offload any auld crap to true fans who panic buy on moment they go on sale. With kings of leon no standing were available, so people snapped up crap seats right up the back. Several days later you could still buy standing tickets and better seats.

A more casual fan might not know the band are even playing, if they logged on a week later and the only seats available were up at the back they might not bother buying them. Pure scumbag trickery. I have detailed it in several threads, posting what is available at the time.

Just for the record these are the buble ones now.

It is common for them to do this on the sly, certainly in 3arena, and the ed sheeran gigs. I presume the idea is to offload any auld crap to true fans who panic buy on moment they go on sale. With kings of leon no standing were available, so people snapped up crap seats right up the back. Several days later you could still buy standing tickets and better seats.

A more casual fan might not know the band are even playing, if they logged on a week later and the only seats available were up at the back they might not bother buying them. Pure scumbag trickery. I have detailed it in several threads, posting what is available at the time.

Just for the record these are the buble ones now.
