The missus is demanding that its an insert stove. So thats what I'm looking for .

    I see theres a stove in B&Q , Breeze Inset Stove 4Kw.

It looks solid and cast iron. Its got a small chamber but it would fit right into my small hearth without any modifications.

It was 500 euro for most of the last year. Its down to 400 now . With my old mans senior discount we can get it for 360.

It also advertises as not needing a flue but I can see myself up on the roof installing one anyway . Feed it through, close the bottom, pour in insulation and clamp the cap on top. And so on - safely.
My chimney is from August 1995 so its fairly modern anyway.

Is there any better value stove in the same price range ? The price might have further to fall. I was on the verge of buying it last summer but went on holiday. When I got back from holiday the price went up over 500 euro. I cant remember the price I missed out on but I think it has further to fall.
According to the B&Q webpage it also has a 5 year warranty. That doesnt sound too bad ?
