Shower Pump

Hi, I need to replace our shower pump which has died after 10 years. My plumber has recommended this: https://www.ie.screwfix.com/stuart-turner-44424-positive-head-3bar.html

I notice one of the reviews refer to 22mm flexible hoses that won’t work in the ROI. Does anyone know if ordering this from the Irish website whether it ships with ROI fittings or if hoses have to be bought separately. Will obviously check with them but thought I would ask here too.

Also, anyone have one of these and are you happy with it. They appear to score well for noise but would welcome views from anyone who has one.

    Thanks.

This has been discussed quite a few times here.
There appears to be conflicted statements from Stuart Turner U.K. and their agents here in Ireland about warranty.
The pump from the U.K. will have a slightly different model prefix and will arrive with 22mm hoses. Apparently, according to Stuart Turners own agent here, by changing the hoses to Stuart Turners own 3/4" hoses it May void the warranty because you have technically changed the spec of their pump.
Apart from that, the hoses are so expensive to replace they negate any savings you may have made in the first place!
The solution, if you buy the U.K. model which Stuart Turner U.K. have said is covered by warranty here.
Get some 22mm copper pipe, make 4 cuts with a pipe slice about 4 inches long, push 22mm copper into Stuart Turner hose, fit 22mm - 3/4" solder or compression adaptors to copper pipes and connect back onto your original 3/4" pipe.
Also, and very important, make sure that the 4 flexi pipes are dead straight up with no bends, otherwise you will have no warranty.

TLDR: Don't change the hoses, use 22mm copper pipe into the hoses instead and adapt back to your 3/4" pipework.

    Thanks. Makes sense.

Is there anywhere in Ireland good value for this or is importing a no brainer. Cheapest in the UK looks to be about GBP 330 versus almost EUR 800 on Davies.
