    Hi everyone

Looking for your recommendations for best perrenial plants for cut flowers.

I have a couple of alstroemerias which I love but would like some other colours/types.

Calla lilies are easy to grow, though you need a big enough space for them, and are spectacular as cut flowers. Gladiolus and sunflowers also last well in a vase. Wallflowers smell gorgeous, and so do sweet peas, and sweet williams last well, though these three are not perennials. Roses of course. Cornflowers - there is a perennial variety.

Pretty much none of the flowers that grow in the garden will last as long in a vase as the commercially grown ones (apart from the lilies maybe) but of course if you have them in the garden you can replace them twice as often.

Don't forget there are also some shrubs that produce attractive flowers that you can cut sprays of.
