    Hi all

It would be very helpful to stick information about businesses reopening after the snow in one place as the information might get swallowed up in the other thread.

    From the other thread:

    Tesco and Aldi saying 9.
    Lidl saying 10.
    Dunnes saying 1.
    Not seen Supervalu saying anything.
Iceland open and they have milk.

    Anyone have any other information?

Anyone have information on pet shops (people may be out of pet food etc), DIY places, like Woodies (people may need to pick up supplies to fix any problems caused by the snow) and pharmacies?

Does anyone know if Bus Eireann from Waterford City to Dungarvan is running today? I've heard conflicting reports.

Bus Éireann will commence the following phased roll out of services on services on Saturday, March 03 **

    South East

All Waterford City services to operate from 1300

All Expressway services to operate from 1300.

I think that's out of date.

    Supervalu Kilbarry open.

    Lidl alongside Woodies is open.

The problem I'm seeing is difficulty with carparks being cleared, there's mounds of snow everywhere.

Maxol Kingsmeadow is open and the deli is open, lots of happy heads sitting in there eating!

And then there are people reporting this kind of stuff on twitter...
Bus Eireann's updates have been very poor in comparison to Irish Rail

Is Tesco Lisduggan open? I have read open from 4pm and also that they aren't open today. Has anyone been down there?

My sister was down there at 2.30pm and Tescos was not opened. Dealz, the Cafe(selling milk) and a couple of butchers were opened but they had next to nothing to sell.

If people are interested Aldis down in Kilmeaden is opened.

Bus Eireann's poor updates are poor but Dublin Coach have been non existent with just one update 3 hours ago the the previous update was yesterday.

My older lad and his girlfriend flew into Dublin this morning and have only just found out that there's a train leaving Dublin at 18.35 this evening. They had return tickets with JJKavanagh's but the service was cancelled so they bought tickets for Bus Eireann who swiftly cancelled all buses to Waterford.

As frustrating as it was for them not knowing if there was a way home or not they know they're lucky compared to so many over the last few days.

Tesco Tramore appeared to have been open, but they must have closed about 2.30. Lidl was open though, no wrapped bread, or eggs, but they did have instore baked bread. All meat cabinets empty, but otherwise there was enough to be going on with. Appear to have had a milk delivery.

Was at Ardkeen today - bedlam! No parking in Lidl/Aldi/Ardkeen Stores unless you were happy to wait, ened up going to Lidl Tramore road which was fine. - no bread though!

Was in Aldi the glen around 3pm today and they had good supplies of bread milk and meat.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,619 ✭✭✭erica74

Ardkeen Stores, Lidl and Aldi in Ardkeen and Tesco Ardkeen seem to be receiving deliveries properly again today, nearly fully restocked today.

So I'd say if the mods want to close this up now, we're done?

Ah I was in at lunchtime, around 1pm and everything looked good, even the middle aisle was restocked with the usual random bits.

Was in Aldi in Ardkeen this evening and lots of empty shelves. Fruit and veg was seriously low, same for chicken, bread etc. Must still be some delays with supplies or else people are just stocking up more than normal!

I was in Aldi Ardkeen on Sunday morning and it was fully stocked with everything. Staff were stocking shelves like mad.

Went over to Tescos straight after and it was bad.....loads of empty spaces in the fruit and veg and the pasta shelves were empty.....was there again today and it was worse
