    hey all
    i have been offered a full time Laboring job 40 hours per week that i have to take for 5 or 6 weeks, from Monday onward with the standard union rate of pay of 13.77 an hour

    i have a couple of questions

    Can i ring the DA/Social Welfare and just take up full time employment like this and if so will i lose my DA??(this wont be Rehabilitative Work) i will have to ringwhen already on the job on monday when i will be on site ????

    When the Job is finished will i go back on DA or be put on to JSB/JSA as labouring work varies from a couple of weeks to 6 months (i was offered a weeks contract with verbal agreeement of a couple of weeks)

    i can get a GP note stating i am fully fit for work

    Does not look too good if you want to go back on DA when the job is finished.
    They will probably call you in for a medical assessment at once when you try to go back on DA and declare you fit for work afterwards.
    Most likely you end up on JSA or in a new job....
