Max you can earn before disability is cut off?

    Hi,

    I'm currently studying and in my final year. I have received a contract from a company to start work in July.
    I worked with them last summer and my disability was reduced to 40.5 euros a week...thing is my pay be 30,000 per year, will my Disability be reduced to very little or cut off?
    I read about it on the website about between such and such percentage will be assessed etc. but it confused me a little.

    I'm hoping I can retain it, just in case work doesn't suit me (due to my disability) so I can hop back up the original 193 pw or 198 by then.

    "If you have no other means, the maximum amount you can earn is €427.50 p/w and still keep an entitlement to the minimum personal payment of €3"


    Pay of €30K a year would be about €570 a week so your DA would certainly be cut off.

    was interested in this topic myself , i have agreed to take a job as a laborer with the standard union rate of 13.77 per hour on a 40 hour week , which amounts to 26,438 euro a year

    would be interested to know if my DA would be cut off or would i get the minimum a week

    So all you need to do is to multiply €13.77 by 40 and you'll be able to answer the question all by yourself!
