Are any businesses opening today do you know?
It's still very wild out there, even though we're officially not considered in red level danger.
I'd be surprised if anything's open.
Saw council workers clearing footpaths yesterday. thought it was a pointless exercise, but fair play to them for trying.

Pipes have frozen even though the heat was in 24/7.

Caseys in Roscommon town is open.

I'm just assuming everywhere will be closed and not going to venture outside to confirm. I'd say roads will be dangerous.

Do you think the worst is over?

Shops in Strokestown all open. A neighbour of mine just went through that way and told me. Roads around there apparently are ok he said.

It's snowing heavy enough again now after a decent thaw.
I got a lift into Roscommon town, hoping to find a pharmacy open.
Roads are fine. A lot of footpaths cleared.
    Most shops opening around 4/5.
    Caseys was buzzing.
Supermacs packed. Some people would have their Christmas dinner there!
    No daily newspapers. No bread!
Wards open, barbers, pubs, jacksons and Norios.
You definitely wouldn't have been stuck in Roscommon today.
