Does a snowed windscreen get you off a parking ticket?

Just wondering if you parked and your pay and display/parking permit was blocked due to snow could you be ticketed ? is it the wardens job to remove snow or do they bother working in such conditions , I also seen plenty of cars parked on double yellow lines today but you could hardly make out they where double yellows :)

Do you really think there are traffic wardens out and about today?

If a warden ticketed you without checking to see if you had a ticket and you were able to prove (with photographs) that the ticket was on the dash and valid for the time the ticket was issued then I would appeal the ticket and let it go to court if need be.

In reality I think the warden would scrape some snow off the windscreen in order to see if there was ticket on the dash.

Just bury the entire car and they won't know you have it parked there until it melts.

If you were driving, why is your windscreen covered in snow?

In Dublin City (I don't know where you are parked), you are only allowed park for 1-3 hours at paid parking places.
