    Hi,

Are there any shops/supermarkets open in or near the city centre from tomorrow morning? Dunnes said they're not opening, Tesco is open in the afternoon, Lidl in the evening (all changeable due to the weather). Would appreciate any input, out of a few essentials here. Thanks.

Assume that there won't be much open at all tomorrow.

Most supermarkets are scheduled to open at 1/2ish but that was going on info from yesterday, some might open earlier, later or not at all. I'd imagine they won't have much fresh food on the shelves cos they won't be getting deliveries.

I went for a trek earlier and Sexton's Daybreak on Old Blackrock Road (across from the South Infirmary) and the Barrack Street shop were both open.

Tesco not opening until tomorrow, anywhere in Ireland, according to the Tesco Ireland Facebook page.

JJ O'Driscoll's in Ballinlough not opening.

Thanks for the tip re: Sexton's, that's close.

Just back from a walk. Breens Centra/Maxol in Donnybrook open, feck all left tho, apart from booze, lots of booze! Good luck getting up the hill from Douglas if you go that way, lads were out on snowboards as we passed!
All the pubs apart from Barrys in Douglas are open and hopping!
Great buzz about the place in general, lots of people and families out and about, everyone in great form!

Subway, Palmento Pizza and Rose Garden Chinese all open. That appeared to be it.

Aldi and Lidl are already open, dunnes said 13:00. Not much stock but rumours about delivery of milk. Beer is enough there. Bread is lacking.

Any truth that some shops in Cork upped their prices in goods due to the bad weather ?No doubt there will be something on the radio monday if true.
