Car hire company making money out bad weather

Really annoyed. Was due to hire a car in Dublin airport tomorrow . As flights cancelled and airport not operational clearly will not be there. Company won’t give a refund but wasn’t expecting one ! . However they also won’t give a credit note but will rebook you to a future date as long as you pay the higher fees that they…

Really annoyed. Was due to hire a car in Dublin airport tomorrow . As flights cancelled and airport not operational clearly will not be there.

Company won’t give a refund but wasn’t expecting one ! . However they also won’t give a credit note but will rebook you to a future date as long as you pay the higher fees that they charge as you are into the spring season.

Why not just offer credit note and not try get more money out of people.

Really annoyed with this company .

Anything anyone suggest ?

Car hire companies are notorious for trying to fleece customers any way they can.

Are the kiosks open in the airport?

If not call the HQ to complain that you are at the airport and can’t rent a car so want a refund.
