I can't for the life of me figure out the name of this show. I can very vaguely remember anything of it at all.

What I can remember was there was a guy (in real life), and his name was "Uncle" something I believe. The intro to the show I think was in a wooded area, and there was a very common classical music song as the intro music. Like Fur Elise or something similar. I seem to remember perhaps there was a toy train set in the intro?

That's literally all I can remember. But I know it existed. It was either on Irish or English TV. I can't remember which. Would have been in the mid to late 80's.

There was a main character in the Adventure Game who was called Uncle but that was Sci-fi themed

No, this was a kids show. Perhaps a story-telling show. My memory of it is really vague, but its annoying me to no ends that nobody remembers it.

the wooded area, classical bit and storytelling bit made me think of this.

but no uncle bit and you do not mention animation so probably not.

It was a guy in real life. Like an old trustworthy uncle telling a tale. It could have been on RTE or BBC, I can't remember.

No - It was British Or Irish. I can't remember. And was just some old guy (maybe he had a beard) - with this theme song, and he was called Uncle something IIRC.

Yes! Thank you!!! This has been driving me nuts for weeks. I can't find a video of it on youtube, but I spent countless hours watching TCC.

    Thank you thank you! :)
