I'm a semi pro drummer, looking for a full time position with a band. I'm living in the Clare/Limerick area, but I'm able to travel nationwide.
I've taken a back seat with music for the last few years, due to College, having kids, and running a small family business.
I dep for many bands in the Munster area, but I'm tired of it, and want to settle with a band. I've been playing for over 30 years, and I've got a world of experience, playing rock/pop, blues, country etc. I've been involved in tribute acts, as well as touring with a few international players.
I have top of the range equipment, and my own transport. I'm easy to get along with. No dramas!

What I'm looking for is an established working band that require a drummer. I'm not really interested in starting something new, unless it's with working musicians. I think you might actually be looking for someone a bit younger than I am too. You might consider me an old fart.

Hi, We're two Americans who have spent our entire lives playing professionally. We've been in Ireland for a year now and cannot find a drummer or bassist. We are in Kerry. We just added a talented Brit keyboardist. We are doing a high energy Blues/Rock thang. Think Rory Gallagher, Cream, Johnny Winter, etc. We have a great rehearsal space in Kenmare (though it's a bit of a drive, we feel with the right, experienced people, we can put together a couple of sets in no time and hook into the blues circuit, and festivals). We already have a set together, and we have P.A., lights, recording gear, etc. Here are a couple of video links form our last band in the states. The fantastic singer and I have been working together most of our lives, and we've played professionally, toured, and signed a couple of bad major label deal in the US. This sounds perfect for me.
The distance is a bit of a worry, but if it means going to Kenmare for rehearsals with the promise of paid gigs down the line, I believe this is something I can work with. The style of music is right up my street too, blues/rock is what I've done most of my drumming career.
Your experience sounds exactly like my own as well.
I haven't time right this minute to watch your youtube video, but I'm looking forward to seeing it in a while.
