Water frozen in pipes to dry hoggetts in shed. They are on Hay and 1 lb each of Krunch once a day.Last got Krunch at 4pm yesterday.Water was running until 6pm definitely yesterday. How Long would they do without water?....was going to skip giving them Krunch today and draw water to them tomorrow morning using buckets.

Would they be safe enough till then eating the hay without water?

    Thanks for any replies ASAP.

My hoggets are all in since Monday. Drew water down this evening due to frozen pipes and only a few bothered with it. They are on silage.

I'd say with hay they would be thirsty. If all else fails there snow into a barell and they will kick eat it

I put my dry hoggets in this morning on hay only.
I gave them water in a barrel this evening they were not too interested in it.

I brought water to them today in buckets into a plastic barrel and only a few drank out of it....was really windy out which must have caused a bit of a thaw as around 5pm their water troughs started to fill again....so they will be sound till tomorrow anyway.

    Thanks for the replies lads.
