Hello. Im experiencing trouble with my Reillo RDB 2.2 15-21 it fires up for 5 minutes no issue then the burner cuts out, motor still running. Then every 15 seconds or so it keeps attempting to fire up. At the 5th attempt it cuts out, the motor goes off with a red light appearing on the reset button. Upon resetting it attempts to fire up once but then cuts off again with red light showing. Ive checked photocell & its as clear as bell. Also bled fuel through and all fine. Its not an old burner, about 2 years old. Any advice we be appreciated. Thanks

Might be worth replacing the photo cell, but if I was on site, I would also want to check the pump pressure. Do you have a plentiful supply of oil?

So it just stops burning, but the motor/pump doesn't stop ?

Sounds like oil feed problems. is your oil frozen ?

Got plenty of oil. Yes, it just stops burning and the motor continues for the amount of time stated on original post. The motor only stops after the 5th attempt to ignite and the red light comes on. Apologies im not very up to speed on these subjects. 1st house with oil. Very old boiler but fairly new Reillo. How am i checking the oil isnt frozen? The oil in the oil tank is fine, and the oil from the bleed nut is coming through fine.

If its kerosene, it doesn't freeze at anywhere near these temperatures.

    Yes its kerosene.
It was all working fine yesterday morning. Tried to put it on last night about 9pm, nothing other than what ive explained. Think may be i need to call someone. Was hoping it would be an easy/quick fix..... probably is for someone that knows
