New to Sportive/Leisure Cycling

    Hi there,

I'm looking for some recommendations please. I've been leisure cycling for the last number of year but have been out of action for the last two years as a result of a knee replacement. I'm back cycling a month now and can do 30K right now but hope to improve on that with time.

I need a target to work towards so I was thinking of doing a few Sportives from April onwards. However I've never done one before so not sure which ones to look at. I don't want to join one that would be too difficult for me. Has anyone any recommendations?

    Thanks in advance,
    Ray.

It could be one of the following reasons…

The bridge might be too low and the strings may be touching the frets,

A part of your sleeve maybe touching the strings while playing.

The alignment of the fret-board may need correction and if it is bent, it is better to change the neck.

    Hmmmm...
