USB C hub

I'll be getting a Macbook Pro 13 non touch bar through work in the next couple of weeks and I will need an SD card reader at the very least. I'm wondering if anyone has used a USB C hub/dock and if you have any recommendations?

My requirements are pretty minimal. Must have a full size SD card slot, hdmi and at least one USB A port. There is a lot of choice, so I'm unsure whether to just go for something like this:

don't know much about these. I imagine they are fairly standard.
I'd suggest to go by the amazon reviews from people who seem like they know what they are talking about and read the answered questions section where you might find out about any limitations of a particular one.
