Meter Reading Indicates Possible Leak

    Hello,
    I have received a letter from Irish Water stating that my meter reading indicates a possible leak. I have carried out the recommended checks. I believe I have identified the problem within the boundary of my property and have now had it repaired by a plumber.

    I am not requesting a free leak investigation at this stage. However, can you please advise what the next step is?
    Do I need to report to Irish Water that I have carried out a repair? Or will my meter continue to be monitored to ensure normal levels of useage?
    Will I receive any feedback?  If the meter continues to show high levels of use, can I avail of the free fix at a later stage if needed? Thankyou.

    Hi Parkstone Quay,

    Thanks for getting in touch.

    You can still avail of the First Fix Free Scheme in future, if your meter continues to show high levels of usage.

    If you PM the following details, we can update your account on our system regarding this:

    - Name;
    - Address;
    - Contact number.

    Thanks,
    Mairead
