Mains supply on opposite side of the road

The mains supply is located on the opposite side of the road to our new build where we are seeking a new domestic connection. Reading the Water Infrastructure Standard Details document (IW-CDS-5020-01) drawing STD-W-01_ Rev 0, it shows that the property owner is responsible for installing the distribution system from the property to 225mm outside the property boundary and Irish Water thereafter. Can you confirm if this is correct? i.e. Irish water/Local authority will bring the supply across the road to within 225mm of the outside of the property

    Hi paul_ftz,

    Thanks for getting in touch.

We recommend filling out our new connection form as this works are determined on a case by case basis.

You can find more information on our connections process here.

We hope this helps and if you have any other queries, please let us know.

    Thanks,
    Agata
