So after passing my driving test a couple of years ago I still have the Opel Corsa 1L I learned to drive in. It's a 03 and it's time to upgrade to something better. Have a budget of around 7K and I'm looking for a 2010 or later model that looks a lot more attractive than the Corsa but not too flash.

    Volkswagen Up/Seat Mii/Skoda Citigo.

    Honda Civic hatchback ?

You'd do well to find a 2010 for 7k but if you went back a year or two you would pick up a clean one with maybe some change left over. If you went to sell it on in two years time you'll probably not lose a terrible lot on it either.

A Ford Fiesta or a Seat Ibiza maybe.
