My van is 2014 Peugeot partner my battery has to go off for testing as it's not starting some times it's that or alternator the mechanic says he said he will need to take it out just wondering if anyone would know if the code is required if battery is disconnected... Tia

Possibly you will need a code. This is sometimes on the body of the radio itself, or in the owner's manual.
What brand is the radio? Is it factory/stock?

A dealer should be able to sort, if need be, for a small fee.

0000 is always a good start.

Did you check the service book? The code will be manually written in during the pdi at the dealers so it could be on the radio manual, the car manual or the service book.

Do Peugeots still have a part for writing in the first owners details? Its often on that page iirc.

Almost certain you will not need a code. If you can give me the model no. of radio which will be written on label usually on side I will tell you if a code is needed.

Peugeot Partner radio for 2014 does not have a code , what it does have is the Vin no. of your car stored in its memory. If battery is disconnected your radio will power on after reconnect and not look for a code.

no such thing as as standard radio, code safe radio usually means burglar wont break in to rob it as a radio is locked and unable to function.a number of radios dont need a code.

if its an original radio fitted when bought dealers can give you a code to release the locking or plenty of forums out there can give you a code once you have all details from radio.

Ya it's the factory fitted radio the only thing is I don't have any manuals or books to find anything out about the radio cause there where stolen out of my van  so I only have what is labelled on the radio itself the face of it when take it out from the dash
