I'm looking for the most affordable and reliable laptop that will run a game with the following minimum specs:

CPU: Intel Pentium 4, Intel Core, AMD Athlon
CPU SPEED: XP - 1.4 GHz or Faster, Vista/W7 - 2.0 GHz or Faster.
    RAM: XP - 512 MB RAM, Vista/W7 - 1.0 GB RAM
OS: Windows XP / Vista / Windows 7
VIDEO CARD: 128 MB Supported Chipsets - NVIDIA GeForce FX 5900 Ultra or greater; ATI Radeon 9800 or greater; Intel 82915G/82910GL or greater
    SOUND CARD: Yes
    FREE DISK SPACE: 2 GB

It's an older game and I'm not the most technically savvy of people so any help or recommendations would be great.

    Thanks

    What game is it? Minecraft?

Those specs would have been on most machines from 10 years ago. So almost anything these days will handle it without any issue.

Surely he might have upgraded to Football Managet 2018? I cant see many people still playing 2012. You will need a higher spec machine.

No, that's definitely the game he plays. He doesn't like the newer versions

What kind of budget do you have? You should be able to get something for in and around 500.

There are laptops to be had under this price, a bit of bargain hunting might be required though.

I was hoping to get something for 400 or less but if I have to go over that I will.

Would this run the game well?

Yeah, it would be more than enough even for the newer versions. Decent laptop.
