    Hey -- I'm 32, male.

Have played kits in pub/wedding bands, snare in samba bands, and lately a 50-piece ukulele band (as a cajon percussionist). Played hundreds of gigs over the years; but lately have just been playing cajon (lost interest in the kit somewhat), and feel like I'd like to stick to it; maybe with a couple of other percussion instruments.

Having recently been part of something great that has now ceased to be, I'm putting the feelers out there for something new.

Interested in any type of setup/group, to be honest -- hopefully with people who can already play their instrument, and enjoy getting songs to high standard. I don't take it too seriously, nor am I an overly technical player: I just enjoy getting together a set of tight songs with good musicians, and playing them live! I'm available around Dublin/Wicklow.

    PM me if interested.

Hi I'm looking try out someone to play with us for percussion and skiffle style drumming. We are an easy going bunch and play acoustic roots n country music largely for fun with a few paid gigs (as many as we can rustle up) Desert Aces is the group and we are based in Dublin. Cajon might suit a lot of what we do but some scaled down kit work with brushes might be good too. We write our own music but play plenty of fun covers and a few sad songs now and then. We have a gig in the cobblestone back room next week if you wanted to see us play. We will be doing some studio recording this year and having a percussist/drummer for that would be great.
Let me know if youd be interested and we can organise a jam session when the snow clears
