Freestanding fridge

A family member needs to replace her fridge-freezer, but has been finding it difficult to find a decent replacement. She is limited by the space in her kitchen as the fridge sits underneath the stairs. She's elderly and tends to fill the freezer once a month and not have too much in the fridge, so she is looking for a 50/50 split.

Max width is 570mm, max height 1640mm. She's seen a few, but they are either very cheap or flimsy, or have a 70/30 split between fridge and freezer. Any recommendations?

I went to did.ie and within seconds found a Whirlpool model, 50/50 split and the exact max. height - 1,640 mm. ...

Note that the compressor typically takes up space at the bottom of the appliance so in a lot of cases, even though the vertical split might be 50/50, the fridge will usually have a greater cubic capacity than the freezer. Keep this in mind if you're looking at the Power City website where a lot of the F/Fs are quoted with the capacities in litres.

Thanks, I think that's the one she saw, but reckoned it the shelves seemed quite flimsy. I hadn't thought about the capacity difference, her existing one is a 50/50, but I'll bear it in mind.
