Shifting problem

    I've question about if somebody can help me with this problem. So problem is when i try to shift on crankset from 2-3(biggest) it feels very heavy and I always get thumb soreness after every ride. Anybody knows maybe why ? Thank you :D:D

    Possibilities are:

    Dirty/worn cable.
    Dirty mech.
    Badly adjusted mech. If the upper stop is wound in too far it won't shift until you press really hard. That might feel like a 'heavy' shift.
