    Hi
I'm due maintenance grant soon. May I ask if people have come across any obstacles from dept.?
Mostly oaks which have been now shaped. I've replaced any damaged or failed trees. Only thing left is to spray weeds. But probably too early yet, although tempted.
Does reg. Forester just inspect or will a rep. From dept. Also visit.
    Thanks for any advice.

Registered forester will need to sign off on your 2nd phase grant instalment ( site inspection and paperwork) only if site is suitably established. Once application has been submitted by forester it will usually require a site inspection by dept. Inspector

Best time to spray Oak is before they flush
