World Report Sunday AM RTE

Listening to yet another World Report on RTE felt like listening to an insufferable homily at Mass.

Does anyone find the speakers as dull as dishwater? (Brian O'Donovan this morning excepted). Generally, I find the topics themselves of second or third rate interest and the speakers unengaging.

Does the format need to be looked at again? Surely asking someone just to read a script is inviting boredom and monotony. Anyone know what the ratings are for this programme?

I usually catch it on a Sunday morning - the reporters do seem to be dull, but sometimes the stories are interesting

How should this type of programme sound? Hear BBC Radio 4's 'From Our Own Correspondent'

Not just this programme. Listen to the sports reporters speaking over highlights of matches, particularly on the weekend tv news. Soo boring.
