Oil Boiler Replacement N.I.

Want to replace 16 year old oil boiler.Heat demand 1000 litres of oil at £500 per year  = 10000kWh X 80% efficient boiler = 8000kWh for 110m squared semi detached 2 floor house. This is low for age of  house 2002,  73kWh metre squared. The EPC (equivalent to BER).suggests energy use of 160kWh metre squared after various upgrades to house.Upgrades so far 500mm loft insulation (not a mistype),cavity wall insulation,LED lighting, 4kw solar pv (subsidy payment).

Mains gas will be available within 4 years but I think the current boiler will need repairs before then.Oil boiler replacement will only cost £750 as eligible for boiler replacement scheme (ni only).Currently thinking new condensing oil boiler, solarpv excess immersion heater, and perhaps small heat pump/airconditioner for one room to use excess pv.Then reconsider if oil price rises to $100 or renewables subsidies return in NI.Any comments appreciated.
