Been everywhere in Ireland and the North and now running out of ideas and tired of the usual haunt of Kilkenny.

Anyone have any good ideas for somewhere different to the usual Cities? The last trip was Tullamore, hotel was fantastic, but the town not so much

Looking at 3-4 star, parking/breakfast included, going 19th March, maybe long Paddy's weekend but prices be mental, prefer to or very close to the main street

    Thanks!!

If you're down to picking the likes of Tullamore as a holiday destination, I'm not sure there's much anyone can suggest without more detail about what you're looking for and where you've already been. What is it you're wanting to do? Dining? Cozy pubs? Crazy nightlife? Sightseeing? Scenic walks? Festivals?

Paddy's weekend is mad expensive and/or booked up solid everywhere, usually; might want to reconsider your dates if you want more options.

I dunno how or why ended up there, in the end the bridge House hotel was fantastic. Knew I made a mistake when on a Sunday had issues getting food suggestions and a place to watch Liverpool on TV

Em, just usual, herself wants to relax,I want to do whatever a Google search throws up, usual tourist sights etc, then one night few drinks, maybe go nightclub/latebar

She works in retail so Paddy's weekend is start of week off, I know Saturday usual criminal price, so normally go on a Sunday onwards

Maybe look into some of the more unusual air B and B's?

We've stayed in castles, log cabins and churches over the past few months.
