Hi all, does anyone have a video link to the old lotto ad of the farmer laughing and as the camera zooms out he's in a Ferrari towing a load of hay "it could be you"

Also any info on the ad would be super,

Was the car irish, is the car still in Ireland ( with the tow bar on it) lol

Did the farmer in the ad own the Ferrari?? And did they REALLY attach a tow bar to a Ferrari ??? Can't imagine there was too many Ferraris in Ireland at the time

It was a 'Lamborghini' of some sort, if I recall correctly. Almost certainly a replica.

OMG I remember that ad well. It was my favourite Lotto ad ever. Yer man breaking his heart laughing to himself as he drives down the road. At the last moment you see him toeing all the hay at the back and then the Lotto message comes up. Brilliant. I think it was out around 1992/3.

I reckon if you saw it now, you would see the cut from the wide shot of the car to the close up of the towbar

Much more recently, where did the old lady Euro millions winner get her Bugatti Veyron that she couldn't fit her shopping in from.

    This too shall pass.

The car became infamous after the add and changed ownership numerous times. Everyone wanted a piece of it.
Last I heard, the shik Mohammed bought it and now used it to toe horseboxes around his stud farm in kildare

Without watching the add I would have said it was a Lotus Esprit (for which towbars were available)

I love some of those ad's , but the lotto is quite funny, the ad is always some farmer or old woman or someone else winning and going on holidays or whatever, when we all know the reality is more like that harry enfield skit where the two tracksuit clad slobs spend it all on fags, pizzas and doing up their council flat.
