Shower connection advise need ot

    Hi folks
    I have a electric mains feed shower which I want to change to tank feed shower
    I have the new shower got
    So need some advise and how to make the cold tank in attic connection to the pipe for shower connection, I got a fitting in hardware shop see pic, I'm wondering should that connection have a seal on it ?? So the tank won't leak, ??? And any advise on fitting cheers

    Thats a half inch tank connector. You'd usually use 2 plastic washers with that. Some suppliers include them in the price & others sell them separately

    Make sure to fit an isolation valve on the pipe from the tank to the shower.

    Anyone know what size hole i drill in tank to fit the half inch fitting also does it have to be on the opposite side of where the water comes inn, it would be a lot handier if i could put it on same side
