    Hi All,
Been doing up the future home and getting to painting time. With the money dwindling it's going to have to be done by myself.
I have been looking at buying a sprayer as I have the inside and outside (pebbledash style finish) to do. Also the brother is building his house so might goes halves on the sprayer (or rent if thats a better idea). Any advise on what to go for, Been looking at a Wagner 625W Airless Paint Sprayer on screwfix, seems to get good reviews!!
Also in relation to paint (keeping in mind we are going for white finish - emulsion) is there a big difference between the brands? I hear the cheap ones are to be avoided but is there any real difference between say crown, dulux and fleetwood?
Any help or advise is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    FNF

With regards to paint itself, get yourself into a manufacturers trade shop and get your paint there. It is far superior to retail stuff for possibly a couple of Euro more per bucket. With regards to spraying, it isn't as easy as it might seem, particularly on interior work. When I started doing it first, I found it very handy to have a roller ready for the places I oversprayed ( which were many). With regards to the Wagner sprayer, sorry, I've never used one so can't really comment.

    Thanks for the reply,
Will investigate the trade shops, will be the first coats on new plaster so after all the money spect would be silly not to invest a bit in the final finish.
Might chance the sprayer, sure if its not for me I guess it will be back to the good old roller.
I guess you need to thin the paint a lot for spraying?
    Regards,
    Declan.
