Since yesterday the Sky plus functionally on my multi room box has stopped working.I plugged out the box last night when going to bed.Plugged it in this afternoon while holding down the backup button in order to preform a software update.Did a planner rebuild this evening.Still no joy.Whats gone wrong. All the channels are working fine. The main box in the house is working fine.It is a Sky plus Hd box.Any suggestions appreciated.

Did you try taking the card out, cleaning the chip and putting it back in. Are you getting an error message?

Check that both cables are properly screwed in at the back of the box. It may also be a problem at the other end i.e. the dish/lnb.

Cant see this being the problem but worth a check though. Press "services, 001, select" to bring up the installers menu and check that it isnt set to single feed mode.

My box is already set to single feed mode.Working it off one cable. The signal strength and signal quality are both very good.I have Saorview on the same TV also. I also have the box connected to the WiFi for downloading TV programs. I phoned Sky yesterday about removing the movie channels.Would that have anything to do with the problem. As I mentioned already all the other channels are working fine.

As you probably know you are unable to use the full array of Sky+ features in single mode.

Could well be the problem alright. Give them another call or post here in their Talk To forum and they will call you back if you PM your details
