    Hiya guys

My uncle signed up to the Beef and Lamb Quality Assurance Scheme (BLQAS) a number of years ago. He keeps sheep and does not finish lambs for the factory. He is sick off it at this stage as they keep sending out more booklets for him to fill out and he has audits. There seems to be zero benefit to it.

My question is how can he leave the scheme? Has anyone been in a similar position?

Far as I know you have to be audited every 18 months. If you don’t do this I think your approval just expires and your out of it.
Just make sure that he doesn’t have to be apart of it to satisfy the conditions of any other schemes he might be in. I’m in a discussion group and I think to get my money from the govt I have to be part of the q.a scheme as well.

Don't allow the audit and he'll be thrown out no problem
