    Hey,
I was looking at a 2009 ford Mondeo today, very good car from the looks of it and am very interested in buying it. The only thing i have noticed was some rust underneath the car. The mechanic thats selling it said he'd fix it up but do ye think I should walk away? Thanks!

That looks about normal for a Ford. I wouldn't be too concerned about that much rust.

Looks only very superficial. It'll brush off with a wire brush.

Has it lain idle for a while do you know?

But make sure the clutch is OK ;)

That looks fine. You should see under my 04 focus.

The only thing holding it together is the carpet:pac:

Am I the only one who thinks that's pretty bad?

The spring is a failure in the making.

Thanks for all your replys! Ya the clutch seems fine, no weird noises or nothing. The car comes with a three month warranty so that should cover anything that goes wrong for that period anyways😅

I had a good look it it, it seems to be just the coating around it if that makes sense

Most 3 month warranties only cover engine and gearbox. Don't assume anything.
