Nissan Qashqai help please

Hi I was hoping for some help. I bought a 2013 Nissan Qashqai +2 last April. Its an english import. Everything was fine up to 2 weeks ago when i noticed 2 "skid" lights came up on the dash and have been illuminated since. The same day i noticed the arrow that normally appears to tell you when to gear up/down also had disappeared. Now this morning there is a error message regarding the auto stop/start. I have incl pics.

Now i know its probably due a service but my Dad has been very unwell so that took priority but i was hoping that someone might have an idea as to what is going on so as i dont get ripped off when i do bring it for a service.

A quick Google shows that abs pump failure is common enough on those. Potentially expensive if part is bought new. Can buy secondhand but needs to be programmed to the car.

This is just guesswork. Your mechanic would know better via diagnostics.

Thanks for the info , i did try google about all 3 issues and came up blank. This is my first qashqai and i only have it less than a year so i was just trying to possibly familiarise myself with it

The 2nd pic ( one with car skidding) seems to be traction control simple fix you will find how to turn on/off im the manual
I got the same pic on my dash (opel astra) and if I rem right they was a button the dash/or wiper stalk to turn it on /off

Thanks Pat i did try the on/off button for it but it seems to do nothing. :-(

I had loads of issues with stop/start on my Qashqai. It was 2012.

In the end I had to swap out the battery and that seemed to resolve them. The car was only 2 years old at that stage

Might be worth checking if the battery is a bit dodgy on it.....it wont cost too much to get someone to check it.....

Cars with stop/start systems take special (expensive) batteries....... Make sure it is the correct battery

Thanks worth noting ,the engine light is now also on, i am taking it to mechanic in the morning so will update

It might be it....I know all sorts of lights started on mine and all sorts of faults...

I had no idea and then suddenly the thing wouldnt start, battery dead as door nail....that was less than 2 years after I bought it new, Nissan didnt say anything and just swapped it out without a question
