OP the bridal outlet in Baldoyle had a few dresses like that as that was they style I was going for too. However when I tried it on it really did nothing for me. I ended up with a fitted floor length dress - definitely not what I had intended to wear for my 2nd wedding at 48!! You may be surprised when you go to try them on.

    Dirty Fabulous is divine!

Another vote here for trying on lots of different styles as well as the one above. I ended up with something I never thought I would have gone for.

Thanks for the suggestions. I plan on doing the dress trying experience so could well end up with something totally different. :pac:

I had my dress made in a similar style to that picture by Honeypie Boutique - they're based in the UK but much cheaper than most dresses i found. I was very sure of the style I wanted though, those are the dresses i tend to wear anyway and i had tried on some more 'traditional' gowns as well before i decided so that's definitely a good idea:) all the best in your search!

I had absolutely zero interest in going through the bridal experience and all the fluff. One of the girls in work knew by my face but said I had to try it.

I went to Dirty Fabulous and what started off as unpleasant turned into a great experience. I had described what I had wanted and the girl was great at giving me wildcards and fun dresses. What I picked was dreadful.

I then went to Wedding world in Fairview and first dress I tried on there I put a deposit down. I did try on a few more but the traditional dress did nothing for me. I ended up with a Bridesmaid dress and it is deadly.
