QFA query

    Hi there,

I've worked in banking for the past 15 years. Mainly treasury and more recently risk type roles. The last few years have been working in risk and pretty much have had my head stuck in spreadsheets all day.

I have become a little disillusioned and at some stage would like a change.

I was thinking at some time in the future of perhaps working for myself as a financial advisor.

I presume but if someone perhaps could please confirm that I would need to do the 6 QFA modules to practice as a financial advisor?

    Many thanks.
