Red ESB conduit and Hockey stick

Hi guys first time working with the ESB red conduit.

We need to rotate the conduit by 180 degrees to get round the corner of house.

I noted the red straights are very stiff - I used a bit of hot water and could get it moving a bit - but had nothing big enough to support inside when bending,


Do people bend these and if so how
Can you use a couple of hockey sticks instead

and with this type of bend is the ESB cable very stiff and may struggle to get round as it is after a 10 meter run ?

Would this suit better. You only need hockey stick at meter cabinet end

Maybe it would but could be the same stuff - but only held in that loop due to ties in each quadrant - It is probably just as stiff

No this is more flexible
You will have to put a big sweep on that bend and a draw rope in to facilitate esbn installation of cable
