    Hi Guys,

My sister is lookin at buying a house and apparently the heating is done via the fireplace? I presume there is a back boiler of some sort. Anyone ever seen this? And any idea how much roughly to get rid and install combi boiler?

Pipework for radiators upstairs looks to be ok.

Not sure from that picture but in my sisters place she has a gas fire that also controls the heating for the rads. Not a back boiler situation. I hadn't seen one myself before 2011. Never had an issue with it so she hasn't replaced it.
