    Hi all,

Would love to hear your opinions on the laptop in the link above. I am also interested in buying one. Uses are general office, excel, browsing and watching movies (odd time)

    Thanks a mil

Will this laptop be one that spends most of its time in your house on a desk, or will it be carried around with you? This is a big enough machine, and weighty too. Which is fine if it won't move too much.

The spec looks good. My main concern would be the lack of RAM (4GB is the absolute minimum required these days). But it should be fine enough for most tasks. This one (same model, with better processor):

Would probably be worth the extra few quid. But not a huge concern if you can't afford it.

Thanks a mil. Movement will be minimal so the weight should be ok. It'll probably only get out of the house once a month!
