Stripper

I'm looking to strip a set of Honda alloys back to bare metal for a refurb but I can't find any proper strong paint stripper anywhere.
Apparently it's nowhere near as caustic as it used to be.
Does anyone here know where I can get my hands on some please?
If all else fails I might have to find an engineering workshop and get them dipped in their acid tank.
Any help would be much appreciated, thank you.

I believe that paint brush cleaner still contains the chemical that was banned from paint stripper. Harmful when inhaled or on skin.

I will be getting some of that for my wheels soon enough, Its hard to beat the real thing, all the strippers now are like wallpaper paste and about as much use!

I bought some other stuff over Christmas to try out and it was about as strong as nail varnish remover.

    Or so I've heard...

Stick some pics up when you have painted them, are you going to etch prime them and then silver or do you need to use some high build primer as well?
Last set I did I had to use the high build to cover some small scratches.
The came out OK in the end but were a pain to do with double spokes, yours look easy with flat spokes in them.

Mine are actually in very good condition, no scratches, just a little kerb rash. I'm gonna give them 3 coats of etch primer and then a light sanding with some 800.
A friend of mine is gonna put the paint and lacquer on them for me.

    EDIT

Here's two of them almost fully stripped, I just need to get a smaller attachment to get into the corners properly.

Four coats of etch primer, it turned out better than I thought.

I thought the old paint strippers were bad for alloy.

That's an aircraft paint stripper, most planes are made of aluminium.
If it damaged alloy I don't think it would be sold as aircraft suitable.

It's a BMW colour, the guy gave me what was left in the tin. I'm nearly sure there was a code on it, I'll grab it for you tomorrow if you want it?
