    Afternoon all,

Bit of a debate in work.

If my notice period was one week and I handed it in today, Tuesday 20th Feb, what would be final day of work?

This will usually be specified in your employment contract, in my case it starts ticking form the end of the month in which it is given. For a notice period of 1 week though perhaps it kicks in from the actual next day after the notice has been given, check your contract.

Thanks for the feedback - if all it states something along the lines of "One weeks notice is required".

I'd probably take your last day as Tuesday, 27th, (i.e. you work 27th), unless your contract specifies otherwise.
