    Hi ,

    Just a quick Question .

I might have 5 weeks work lined up and I am on a Jobseekers payment.

Can I get the payment put on hold while I am working and then go back on it once the short contract ends or will I have to stop my claim and then go through the process of putting in a new claim if I have no other work once the 5 weeks are up ?

    Thanks

You can put your claim on hold.

have you any idea what the limit is on number of weeks a claim can be put on hold while working before it is cancelled ?

Does anybody know if I have to do the monthly sign on if my claim is paused while I take casual work ? Wouldn't be able to make it in as I'd be working office hours that day

No your claim will be suspended for up to and including 12 weeks and you won’t have to sign on because your not available for work
