Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Tivùsat is the Italian Free To View system.
You need an FTV Card to decode which is limited to people with Italian PRSI numbers. It's only sold with hardware, but you can buy a receiver or CAM in most decent Italian electronic stores.

Anyway it's now got Rete 4 , Canale 5 and Italia 1 in HD.

RAI have been HD for a while so it's roughly like ITV adding HD to match BBC.

You may know this. But of you were to add a TBS USB card to your E2 box (TBS 5925 for example). You'd have all the Mediaset channels using pls mode on their multistream TP off 13E.

Im planning to purchase an 80cm dish soon, for astra 28.2 and hotbird 13. My wife is Italian, so thought it would be cool to recieve the channels from home. Can I use the Italian FTV card on my vu+ solo 4k ?. Shouldn't be an issue to have her Dad or relative provide us with prsi number to activate card....

Or is card dependent on Tivùsat box do you know ?

    Cheers

If you buy the card new it has to be bought with hardware.

Smallest, cheapest way is with a CAM. Or for a little more a poverty spec receiver with just one sat input. I don't know anything about the On Demand stuff or even if it's geo blocked like Freesat.

AFAIK Card isn't paired with a box but you can use the real CAM above or a Softcam - CCcam just needs an empty CCcam.cfg file to exist , so no keys or other naughtiness involved and besides you've already had to pay for the decryption hardware in the CAM or receiver.

On OpenVix you just select the TivuSat Bouquet and away you go
MediaSet 20 was added to the line up recently. A lot of non Italian programs carry the original language too, depending on the station.
