hi all, i'm going to a confirmation in Virginia in a few weeks, its on late in the day and i got to thinking i could cycle up to it instead of driving. Now, i know most of the roads from driving, but I'm curious if anyone would have an opinion as to which route would be best for cycling. thanks,

    Nass - Sallins - Clane - Kilock - Summerhill - Trim - Navan - Kells

Probably the best way to go with decent enough roads

I'd say ignore the roads you would use for driving and seek out smaller, quieter roads instead.
