    Hi Folks,

Has anyone a suggestion as to the quickest & relatively cheap way to get from Krakow to Cologne. Need to do this trip on 2nd April & there's no direct flights between the 2.

    Thanks in advance.

You could fly to Düsseldorf (eurowings) but it's not all that cheap. The fact that it's Easter Monday might have something to do with it.

Cheers. Might have to delay travel by a day. Flights €399 on the Monday & €140 on the Tuesday.

    €140 sounds much more reasonable.

€120 by train if you are interested. But it will take whole day and you need to change trains in Berlin.

    Bus 19 hours and 65.44.
Leaves Krakow at 16.00, gets to Cologne airport 11.00 the next day.
    eurolines

Monday April 2nd theres a Ryanair flight at 1.15 to (proper /real/ THE) Frankfurt airport for €49
From there get the train or a bus up to cologne, which will add 20 to 40 (or more) onto the cost.

another option is for €52, get the night bus from Krakow to Berlin on the 2nd, and fly Ryanair to Cologne
Theres various versions on the theme, but you cant get around the fact that its 8+ hours From Krakow to Berlin so doing that at night (when youre not wasting your day on a bus) kindof makes sense

    All the options.

    I wouldn't bother with the Bus ... 15 hours .. would go crazy :)

Katowice to Eindhoven might be a good bet, 50 (209 zloty) euros with Wizzair

You can take the Eurobahn from Eindhoven to Dusseldorf/Neuss and then change for Cologne

There's also an IC Bus that's cheap
