The front left caliper is seizing up on my 07 kia ceed 1.6crdi.

Any idea what the cost would be to replace? Also can reconditioned caliper be got at a cheaper price.

    Thanks

Refurb caliper and labour, prob about 150 give or take depending on where you go.
Let whoever fits it source it (unless they say otherwise), you won't save money by sourcing it yourself.

Also, if the caliper has been seizing from any length of time you may well need pads and discs too

Get a mechanic to look at it. it high just need freeing up and new pads put on. new caliper is mad money particularly on some diesel ones so just get a reconditioned one.

I got a reconditioned calliper last year, but I'd recommend getting a new one if there isn't an enormous price difference. The reconditioned one ended up costing more in the end as I had to buy the mounting bracket, sliding pins etc separately. I needed to replace the other side soon after and it worked out cheaper as the whole unit came with those bits and pieces included. Also pads and discs may very well be needed.
